Avinash Vasant Prabhu Appointed As CFO Of Union Bank

Avinash Vasant Prabhu has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Union Bank of India for a period of 3 years, with effect from November 20, 2023.

Avinash Vasant Prahu is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He has more than 25 years of experience. Earlier, Prahu served as the CFO for Deutsche Bank in India, overseeing Financial Reporting (group and regulatory), Business and Infrastructure Finance, Asset and Liability Management (ALM), Taxation, Transformation, and Financial Planning and Strategy. Additionally, he previously held the post of CFO for India at Credit Agricole CIB and worked as a Manager at Arthur Andersen.
