Ashwani Kumar appointed as MD of UCO Bank by the Government

Ashwani Kumar has been appointed by the government as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UCO Bank. Currently serving as an Executive Director of Indian Bank, Kumar will replace Soma Sankara Prasad. The appointment is effective from today, for a period of three years. Ashwani Kumar brings extensive experience from various public sector banks, including Punjab National Bank and Bank of Baroda. He is a chartered accountant with a background in wholesale banking and has held positions such as Chief Financial Officer and General Manager.
