Ashok Soota Re-appointed Executive Chairman of Happiest Minds Technologies

The Board of Directors of Happiest Minds Technologies Limited has approved the reappointment of Ashok Soota as a whole-time Director designated as Executive Chairman for a term of five years with effect from April 1, 2024. Subject to the approval of shareholders of the company.

Ashok Soota is widely recognised as one of the pioneering leaders of the Indian IT industry. Soota has been the President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a member of the Prime Minister’s Task Force for IT, and was on the Advisory Council for the World Intellectual Property Organisation, Geneva. He is a Fellow of INAE and CSI and on the Board of Governors of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Philippines. In 2011, he established Ashirvadam, a trust for environmental projects and assistance to the needy. In 2021, he launched SKAN, India’s first private sector, non-profit organisation exclusively dedicated to carrying out medical research on ageing and neurological disorders. He is also the founder of Happiest Health. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Roorkee (now IIT, Roorkee) and an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines.
