Arvind Vats Will Take Over As CFO Of Orient Electric; Saibal Sengupta Set To Retire

Arvind Vats has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel (CFO & KMP), designated as Chief Risk Officer of Orient Electric Limited, with effect from January 1, 2025. He will be succeeding Saibal Sengupta, who will be retiring as CFO and KMP of the company on attaining the superannuation with effect from December 31, 2024.

Meanwhile, Hitesh Kumar Jain has resigned from the position of Company Secretary and Compliance Officer as well as Key Managerial Personnel of the company, effective December 20, 2024.

Arvind Vats has 30 years of post-qualification experience in the fields of accounting, financial planning & analysis, automation, IPO & listing, investor relations, Corporate Governance, funding & treasury, taxation, and matters relating to commercial & business operations. He has worked with varied industries like FMCG, modern retail, QSR-food retail, telecommunication, and textile.
