Arabandi Venu Prasad Steps Down As Independent Director Of PTC India

Arabandi Venu Prasad has resigned as Independent Director of PTC India Limited due to his appointment as Member (Technical) of the GST Appellate Tribunal, effective November 13, 2025.

Prasad, a retired IAS, from the 1991 batch of the Punjab cadre, served for over three decades in the Indian Administrative Service. He retired as Special Chief Secretary to the Government of Punjab, a role equivalent to Secretary to the Government of India. Over the course of his career, he held key positions across the state administration and contributed to policy formulation, programme implementation, and governance systems. Prasad’s academic background and diverse field experience have shaped a comprehensive understanding of governance, development, and state-level administration, enabling him to bring a broad and integrated perspective to organisational strategy and policy execution.
