AR Ganesh Appointed Group Chief Technology Officer of Jio Financial

The Board of Directors of Jio Financial Services has approved the appointment of AR Ganesh as Group Chief Technology Officer designated as a Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the Company with effect from October 16, 2023.

Ganesh has been associated with ICICI Bank for last 13 years. In his last role, he was the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) having overall oversight on Cybersecurity. Prior to being designated as CISO, he was heading Treasury and Corporate Centre Technology. His exposure in domain is spread across Cybersecurity, Enterprise IT, Service Delivery and Banking Software product management. He has successfully delivered several transformational projects of large impact and comes with an experience of leading large and diverse teams. Through his career spanning across 30 years, he has handled multiple roles including Banking and Financial Services (Capital Markets, Merchant Banking & Lending), IT product development & implementation, IT consulting & Pre-sales, Management of offshore delivery units and Retail Shared Services.
