Apple Environment & Policy Chief Lisa Jackson To Retire In January 2026

Apple said Lisa Jackson, its Vice President (VP) of Environment, Policy, and Social Initiatives, will step down in late January 2026 and will not be directly replaced.

Jackson oversees Apple’s work on climate action, renewable energy, materials use, and resource conservation. She also leads the company’s USD 100 million Racial Equity and Justice Initiative and manages education policy, product accessibility, and global government affairs. She serves on Boards including Tulane, SF Film, Conservation International, and the American Film Institute. She previously held roles with the New Jersey state government. Jackson holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Princeton University and a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University.
