Anuradha Bhatia Appointed As Independent Director Of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance

Anuradha Bhatia has been appointed as Independent Director (Additional Director) of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited with effect from March 12, 2025, subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Bhatia is a former Member (Technical) of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai, and a Retired Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax. At NCLT, she oversaw matters related to insolvency, liquidation, and corporate restructuring under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, and the Companies Act, 2013. She oversaw 23 districts in Maharashtra and was the Director (Finance) of the Maharashtra State Electricity Board. She has more than thirty years of experience in direct tax administration. She is an empanelled arbitrator with the Indian Council of Arbitration and a Senior Partner with A. B. Advisor and ABW Legal. Bhatia holds degrees in law and political science from Delhi University.
