Anant Maheshwari appointed as Chairperson of NASSCOM

Anant Maheshwari, the President of Microsoft India, has been appointed as the new chairperson of the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) for 2023-24, succeeding Krishnan Ramanujam of Tata Consultancy Services. Rajesh Nambiar, Chairman and Managing Director of Cognizant India, has been named Vice Chairperson. The newly installed leaders, together with NASSCOM’s President Debjani Ghosh, will strive to realise the technology sector’s objective of reaching $500 billion by 2030. NASSCOM has also announced the formation of its new Executive Council for 2023-2025, which will play a strategic role in driving focused initiatives and programs to establish India’s tech sector as a global leader.
