Anand Singhi to Head Retail and Government Business at ICICI Lombard

ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited has appointed Anand Singhi as Head of Business Strategy and Chief of Retail and Government Business, with effect from February 24, 2024. He will be a Senior Management Personnel of the company. However, under the guidelines of the IRDA, he will be considered a Key Management Person (KMP).

Singhi has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles in two large multi-line general insurance companies across business operations, underwriting, claims, sales, marketing, and distribution. He started his career with ICICI Lombard in December 2002 and has roles spanning across business support functions, including operations, claims, underwriting, and healthcare. He joined Reliance General Insurance Company Ltd. in May 2012 as Chief Operating Officer. Since 2016, he has been in the role of Chief Distribution Officer at Reliance General Insurance Company, managing sales, marketing, and distribution across products and channels (retail and government business). Anand Singhi is a commerce graduate and a Chartered Accountant.

The company has also disclosed in their exchange filings that several senior executives have been excluded from the list of KMPs and SMPs. These include Sheena Kapoor, Birendra Mohanty, Bipin Mundada, Nitin Khanna, Vivek Srivastav, Amar Joshi, and Milind Kolhe.
