Amit Burman And Anil Mehra Retired As Independent Directors Of Talbros Automotive Components
Anil Kumar Mehra and Amit Burman ceased to be Independent Directors of Talbros Automotive Components Limited upon completion of their second term of five years on September 11, 2024.
Amit Burman is the Chairman of Dabur India Ltd. He played a key role in establishing Dabur India’s processed foods business by setting up Dabur Foods Ltd. He became the CEO of Dabur Foods in 1999 and held the position until the company’s merger with Dabur India Ltd. in July 2007, after which he was appointed Vice Chairman of Dabur India Ltd. In 2019, he took on the role of Chairman of Dabur India Ltd. He gained valuable experience at Colgate Palmolive in New York and worked for six months at a Kansas plant specialising in soaps and detergents. In 1990, he trained at Tishcon Corporation in New York. He holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge, an M.Sc. from Columbia University, and a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA, USA.
Currently Mehra holds positions as Group Executive & Finance Director at Thomson Press (India) Ltd. and Director at various companies, including Radio Today Broadcasting Ltd., The All India Finance & Commerce Pvt. Ltd., Thomson Digital (India) Ltd., The All India Investment Corp. Pvt. Ltd., Delhi Golf Club Ltd., India Today Online Pvt. Ltd., Today Merchandise Pvt. Ltd., and T.V. Today Network (Business) Ltd. He is a fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He is a partner at Mehra Singh & Vishwanath Chartered Accountants. Previously, he served on the Board of Living Media India Ltd., TV Today Network Ltd., Automotive Exchange Pvt. Ltd., and Integrated Data Bases India Ltd. He holds an undergraduate degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce.
