Aman Kumar Singh has stepped down from NDTV board

Aman Kumar Singh, the head of corporate affairs and corporate brand custodian for the Adani Group, has resigned from his position on the board of NDTV Ltd due to other commitments. Singh, a former Indian Revenue Service Officer, was a prominent bureaucrat in the Raman Singh-led BJP government in Chhattisgarh and served as the principal secretary to the chief minister. However, he faced a corruption charge in Chhattisgarh in February 2020, which was initially quashed by the High Court but later overturned by the Supreme Court last month. The court emphasized that corruption case FIRs should not be quashed by the High Court during the investigation stage, even if the case was registered by a new government against officials of the previous government.
