Alok Jain joins Viacom18 as President

Alok Jain, who recently left Disney Star, joined Viacom18 as President and Head of Colors Hindi and Regional, with secondary responsibility for managing the regional rollout of digital content. The hiring occurs when Viacom18 has been working to elevate Colors as the leading Hindi GEC in the country. In the Viacom18 hierarchy, Jain will effectively replace Kevin Vaz as the CEO of TV business and digital-regional content.

Before electing to work in the media industry, Jain held positions in a variety of industries, including production, capital goods, consumer durables, automotive, and technology. He has held a variety of positions in business development and strategy. Jain holds an MBA from ISB and an engineering degree from IIT Delhi.
