Allcargo Group Announces Shashi Kiran Shetty’s Re-Designation as Executive Chairman

Logistics firm Allcargo Group has recently announced significant leadership changes and key appointments. Shashi Kiran Shetty, the company’s founder and chairman, has been re-designated as the Executive Chairman, reaffirming his influential role in shaping the organization’s strategic direction. This decision follows the demerger of Allcargo Group.

As part of the restructuring, Adarsh Hegde, a seasoned professional within the company, has been promoted to the position of Managing Director of Allcargo Logistics. Hegde will provide strategic leadership, oversee functional management, and drive value creation opportunities. He will also spearhead the implementation of technology and digital initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Former CEO of the group’s CFS-ICD business, Suresh Kumar, assumes the role of Managing Director on the board of the newly demerged company, Allcargo Terminals Limited. Kumar’s responsibilities will include driving growth in the CFS and ICD business segments and exploring potential opportunities in the port sector and related areas. He will retain his leadership responsibilities in driving the group’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.

Pirojshaw Sarkari has been appointed as the Managing Director & CEO of Gati-KWE, a subsidiary of Allcargo Group, as well as the Managing Director of Allcargo Supply Chain. Sarkari’s expertise will be instrumental in leading the express distribution and contract logistics businesses.

Jatin Chokshi, a long-standing member of the Allcargo Group, will assume the role of Managing Director of TransIndia Real Estate Limited. With his extensive experience within the company, Chokshi will drive the success of the real estate vertical.

Furthermore, Kaiwan Kalyaniwalla will serve as the Chairman of Allcargo Terminals Limited, while Mohinder Bansal, an accomplished entrepreneur, has been appointed as the Chairman of TransIndia Real Estate Limited.

These leadership changes and appointments reflect Allcargo Group’s strategic realignment and focus on growth.
