All Eyes on Singapore as Board Stewardship Huddle Returns with Renewed Focus

The Board Stewardship is all set to host its flagship event, the Board Stewardship Huddle, in Singapore on August 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM (SST) at the prestigious Tanglin Club, Singapore. Themed ‘The Evolving Board Room: Governance, Engagement and Board,’ the Huddle will serve as a high-impact platform for global leaders, board members, and governance experts to connect, collaborate, and celebrate progressive boardroom practices. Powered by its speaker partners S&P Global and Deutsche Bank, the event will feature keynote addresses, dynamic panel discussions, and networking sessions, making it a key event for those shaping the future of corporate governance.

The Huddles go beyond slides and panels—they’re about meaningful, trust-based conversations. Designed to spark candid dialogue among boardroom stakeholders, they blend intimacy, shared purpose, and valuable networking in a truly engaging format.

The Huddle will starts with the Welcome Address by Vikesh Wallia, MD and Editor, Board Stewardship, setting the tone for the day’s proceedings. The event transitions into the session titled ‘Changing Corporate Governance Landscape’, a keynote address (TBC) by Shailesh Haribhakti, Chairman, Advisory Board, Board Stewardship.

K V Rao, Chairman & Director, Tata International Singapore Pte Ltd & TML Holdings Pte Ltd, and Former Resident Director – ASEAN, Tata Sons Singapore, will share insights during the session ‘The Agile Board: Steering Success in Shifting Sands’, focusing on the critical role of agility in board leadership.

Followed by another Keynote Address on ‘Transforming Board Leadership’ by Shiv Khera, Founder, Qualified Learning Systems USA.

 

Panel Discussion 1- Succession Planning for the Future Board: The New Skills for Boards

The event continues with Panel Discussion on Succession Planning for the Future Board: The New Skills for Boards.
