Abrdn Restructures Leadership To Address Performance Challenges

Abrdn has restructured its leadership team to focus on strategy execution, culture, and risk controls, following the appointment of Jason Windsor as permanent Chief Executive Officer (CEO) two months ago.

Abrdn emphasised the importance of overseeing the execution of strategy, culture, and risk controls in its leadership approach. Also, the company has formed a new group operating committee designed to transform the company’s performance and streamline decision-making processes. This move comes as the company seeks to address its lacklustre performance and improve operational efficiency.

Before his current role at Abrdn, Windsor served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Abrdn, where he contributed to the company’s strategic and financial direction. Windsor has experience in financial services and leadership, having worked in various senior roles within the industry. Before joining Abrdn, Windsor was CFO at Standard Life and held leadership roles at various financial institutions, contributing to business growth and transformation initiatives.
