Board Stewardship to Discuss Business Turnarounds and Digital Transformation on October 30
The October edition of ‘Boardroom Insights’, supported by Steward Leadership Institute (SLI), BoardPAC and Nagarro, will feature a book launch, two panel discussions and an interactive session on independent directorship.
Board Stewardship will host the October edition of its monthly webinar series, ‘Boardroom Insights’, on Friday, October 30, 2026. The programme will bring together Board Directors and industry professionals for discussions on business turnarounds, digital transformation and the journey towards Independent Directorship. The webinar is supported by Steward Leadership Institute (SLI), BoardPAC and Nagarro.
The programme will open at 3:45 PM IST with a welcome address by Vikesh Wallia, MD & Editor, Board Stewardship. This will be followed by a keynote address by Shailesh Haribhakti, Board Icon of India and Chairman, Advisory Board, Board Stewardship.
The first session will feature the launch of Turning Red into Black, a book authored by Robin Banerjee, followed by a panel discussion titled ‘Board’s Turnaround Strategy – Turning Red into Black’.
Moderated by Raman Madhok, Chairperson, United Way Mumbai and Board Advisor, the discussion will feature Robin Banerjee, President, The Council of EU Chambers in India; Chairman, CII (Western Region) Subcommittee on EoDB & Responsible Business; and Chairman, Nucleon Research Pvt. Ltd.; Vinayak Jadhav, Independent Director; and Murali Cherat, Founder & Managing Director, Wow Laddus Pvt. Ltd.
The discussion will examine the Board’s role when a business is struggling to deliver results, including the decisions Directors must consider when an organisation needs to change course. An audience Q&A will follow the panel discussion.
The next session will turn to digital transformation, with a panel discussion titled ‘The Board’s Agenda for Digital Transformation – From Caterpillar to Butterfly’. The discussion will focus on how boards can approach technology-led change and the questions Directors should raise as organisations adapt their business models and operations.
Dr. Mandeep Maitra, CEO, M-Suite Leadership Consulting LLP, Leadership & Transformation Coach, and Independent Director and Advisor to BFSI, will moderate the session. The panelists will be Arvind Prabhu, Information Technology Governance Consultant, MNC Bank, and Hareesh Tibrewala, CEO, Manabu AI Solutions. The session will be followed by an audience Q&A.
The programme will conclude its discussion sessions with a Q&A on the Independent Directorship Journey with Vikesh Wallia. The conversation will address the professional journey and responsibilities associated with Independent Directorship, offering participants an opportunity to raise questions on the subject.
Through this edition of ‘Boardroom Insights’, Board Stewardship will bring three distinct areas of boardroom practice into focus: responding to business underperformance, overseeing digital transformation and understanding the responsibilities of Independent Directors.
