Axis Bank’s Group Head – Branch Banking – South Sanjeev Moghe Resigns

Sanjeev Moghe, Senior Management Personnel, designated as Group Head – Branch Banking, South of Axis Bank Limited has tendered his resignation on October 4, 2026, to pursue an opportunity outside the Bank.

He will be relieved from the services of the Bank on October 30, 2026, and shall also cease to be a Senior Management Personnel with effect from that date.

Moghe has over 28 years of professional experience across banking, financial services and consumer businesses. He joined Axis Bank in 2018 and has held various leadership roles, including President and Head – Cards & Payments since April 2022 and EVP and Head – Cards & Payments from March 2018 to March 2022. Prior to joining Axis Bank, he was Business Head – EMI Cards at Bajaj Finance from 2015 to 2018. He spent over 15 years with Citi, where he held various roles, including Director and Director & Head – Strategy, S&D. He began his career with Asian Paints as a Sales Executive.

He holds a PGDBM in Marketing & Finance from IIM Calcutta and a B.Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science from IIT Bombay.
