After O.P. Bhatt, DK Singh resigns from Coforge Board

DK Singh, Non-Executive Independent Director and Chairperson of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC) of Coforge Limited, has resigned from the Board with immediate effect, adding to a series of senior-level board changes at the IT services company.

Following his resignation, Singh will also cease to be a member of the Board committees.

The development comes days after O.P. Bhatt stepped down as Non-Executive Chairman of Coforge, putting the company’s board governance processes under greater scrutiny.

Coforge has appointed Vivek Sharma as interim Chairperson until January 31, 2027. Sharma will lead a global search for additional independent directors and oversee the process for electing a new Chairperson. The process will consider both existing and newly appointed directors.

The Board has also reconstituted the NRC and the Stakeholders’ Relationship Committee (SRC), with Beth Boucher, Non-Executive Independent Director, designated as Chairperson of the NRC.
