Garware Technical Fibres Reappoints Shridhar Rajpathak As Independent Director & Vayu Garware as CMD

The shareholders of Garware Technical Fibres Limited on September 8, 2026, have approved reappointment of Dr. Shridhar Shrikrishna Rajpathak as a Non-Executive Independent Director for a second term of five years effective from November 12, 2026.

The shareholders have also approved the reappointment of Vayu Ramesh Garware as Managing Director, to be designated as Chairman and Managing Director, for a period of five years, effective from December 1, 2026.

Rajpathak has more than 47 years of experience, he has been involved in various functional areas such as accounting and finance, costing, marketing, indirect taxation, export procedure, international laws on taxation, etc. He is also director of Garware Environmental Services, Garware Technical Textile, Garware Technical Fibres Foundation, and The Plastic Export Promotion Council. He holds a B.Com (Hons), P.G.D.B.M. and M.B.S. (Marketing) degree from University of Pune. He has also been awarded Ph. D. on thesis subject – “A Treatise on Utilization of Fisheries Resources for Sustainable Growth Experience and nature of Expertise in specific Functional Area Company.

Garware has been associated with the company’s Board since December 1995. He initially served as a Director and subsequently as a Whole-Time Director until November 2011, before being elevated to Managing Director, designated as Chairman & Managing Director, on November 2011. Since then, he has been responsible for the overall management of the Company and reports to the Board of Directors. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics, specialising in Finance, from the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA.
