Board Stewardship To Host September ‘Boardroom Insights’ Webinar On Ethics, AI And Geopolitical Risk
Board Stewardship is set to host the September edition of its monthly live webinar series, ‘Boardroom Insights’, on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:15 PM, with the session opening at 3:45 PM. The webinar will bring together board leaders, independent directors, governance professionals and industry experts for discussions on ethics, artificial intelligence and geopolitical risk.
BoardPAC is the Knowledge Partner for the webinar. The September edition will feature a series of conversations focused on emerging issues relevant to boards and business leaders, including the responsible use of AI, ethical decision-making, geopolitical risks and the independent directorship journey.
The programme will begin with a Welcome Address by Vikesh Wallia, MD & Editor, Board Stewardship, followed by the Inaugural Address by Shailesh Haribhakti, Board Icon of India and Chairman, Advisory Board, Board Stewardship. The Keynote Address will be delivered by Prakash G Rajan, Retired Chief Audit Executive, Certified Corporate Director and Board Member of 2 Global NFP Organisations.
The first major discussion will be the roundtable, ‘Ethics and AI – Alacrity with Integrity.’ The roundtable will feature Ritu Mathur, Founder, Chrysalis Sutra, Former Director – CII & Head – National Foundation for Corporate Governance and Certified Independent Director; Praveen Gogia, Partner, Dailogaa, Board Advisor, Starweaver and Board Advisor, alphaTUB Innovations; Badmaprasath Baskaran, AVP Technology – Core Banking Platforms, Certified Independent Director; Anil Rustgi, Independent Director, Audit Committee Chairperson, Risk & Governance Professional, Strategic Corporate Advisor; Rajesh Rajalingam, Independent Consultant & Founder, RCO & ASSOCIATES; and Ramaprasad B K, Non-Executive Director, Skytech Infinite platform, Qualified Independent Director & Company Secretary.
The roundtable will explore the intersection of ethics and AI, with perspectives from professionals working across governance, technology, consulting and corporate leadership.
The webinar will also feature a panel discussion titled ‘Geopolitical Risk – Calm in the Storm.’ The panel will bring together Preeti Mehta, Senior Partner, Kanga & Co; Dr. Pramod Sant, Director General – EFFAI, Certified Independent Director, Former VP – CEAII, Import Export and Customs, Siemens Ltd; and Suhail Motwani, Managing Director, Risk Advisory & Investigations, FTI Consulting. The discussion will examine geopolitical risk and its relevance to businesses, leadership and boardroom decision-making.
The programme will conclude with a Q&A Session on Independent Directorship Journey by Vikesh Wallia, providing participants with an opportunity to engage on the opportunities, responsibilities and journey associated with independent directorship.
