HEG Limited Announces Major Leadership Reshuffle With New Chairman, MD & CEO

Riju Jhunjhunwala has been appointed as Chairman, Managing Director & CEO of HEG Limited, with immediate effect. Neha Rajvanshi has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), while Ravi Gupta has been appointed as Company Secretary, both with immediate effect. Manish Sharma, Pushp Jain, Sanjeev Mehra, Ameya Suresh Prabhu and Rajiv Dewan have been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Directors, while Om Prakash Ajmera and Yash Kela have been appointed as Non-Executive Non-Independent Directors of the company, with immediate effect.

Jayant Davar, Priya Shankar Dasgupta, Nand Gopal Khaitan and Sandip Somany have resigned as Independent Directors of HEG Limited, while Kamal Gupta and Shekhar Agarwal have resigned as Non-Executive Non-Independent Directors.

Ravi Kant Tripathi has ceased to be CFO, and Vivek Chaudhary has ceased to be Company Secretary. Puneet Anand has ceased to be President & Group Chief Strategy Officer, while Manish Gulati has ceased to be Executive Director. Jasvinder Singh Khosla has ceased to be VP of Operations, R&D, Design & EHS, while Atul Laxman Moghe has ceased to be VP of Maintenance & Power.

Prasant Kumar Jha has ceased to be General Manager of Commercial, Rajesh Jetha has ceased to be Senior General Manager of IT, and Axay Saxena has ceased to be Senior General Manager of HR & IR. Madhur Sharma has ceased to be Deputy General Manager of Marketing, Nagarajan T has ceased to be Deputy General Manager of Technical, and Ashish Gaur has ceased to be General Manager of Marketing. Tajender Bhatia has ceased to be Deputy General Manager of Maintenance & Power, Devendra Singh Lodhi has ceased to be Deputy General Manager of SCM, while Ravi Jhunjhunwala has ceased to be Chairman, Managing Director & CEO of HEG Limited.

Riju Jhunjhunwala is a business leader associated with the diversified LNJ Bhilwara Group. He became President of the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation’s Delhi Chapter at the age of 30, reflecting his early leadership experience. Under his leadership, RSWM’s revenue grew to Rs. 4,057 crore in FY2023-24, with operations spanning 12 manufacturing facilities in Rajasthan and exports to more than 76 countries. He has also been involved in HEG Limited, Bhilwara Energy Limited and the group’s green energy initiatives. At HEG, India’s leading graphite electrode manufacturer, he has contributed to the company’s expansion and diversification. His interests also include technology-driven startups, renewable energy and advanced carbon materials. Through the Jawahar Foundation, he supports initiatives focused on healthcare, education, clean water, food security and women’s empowerment.
