Gokul Agro Resources Appoints Rajesh C. Tarpara, Dr. Pritha Dev & Manharbhai K. Jadav As Independent Directors
Gokul Agro Resources Limited has appointed Rajesh Chhaganbhai Tarpara, Dr. Pritha Dev, and Manharbhai Kurjibhai Jadav as Non-Executive Independent Directors for a five-year term following approval from shareholders through a postal ballot. Tarpara and Dr. Dev joined the Board on May 15, 2026, while Jadav’s appointment came into effect on June 8, 2026.
Rajesh Tarpara is an Independent Director with over 25 years of professional experience in corporate and legal advisory services. His areas of expertise include secretarial practices, Corporate Governance, legal matters, mergers and amalgamations, finance, direct and indirect taxation, GST, and regulatory compliance. He provides advisory services in Company Law compliance, IPO consultancy, taxation matters, liaising, litigation, and scrutiny-related areas. Through his professional practice, he has worked across various business disciplines, supporting organisations in regulatory and corporate governance requirements. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and an LL.B. degree and has been a practicing Company Secretary since 2003.
Dr. Pritha Dev is an Independent Director with academic experience in economics and research. She is an Associate Professor in the Economics area at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, where she has been associated since 2015. Before joining IIM Ahmedabad, she served as faculty at the Business School of Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City. Her areas of expertise include economics, quantitative research, and academic studies. Dr. Dev earned her bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Rajasthan. She holds a Ph.D. in economics from New York University, completed in 2008, and a master’s degree in quantitative economics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi.
Manharbhai Kurjibhai Jadav is former Secretary of the Water Resources Department, Government of Gujarat. He has been serving as an Independent Director with over 44 years of experience in infrastructure development, water resource management, and public administration. He has held leadership roles in government service and corporate sectors, with expertise in policy formulation, project execution and contract management. He currently serves as Vice President at LCC Projects Ltd., where he contributes his experience in infrastructure and governance. His professional background combines technical knowledge with administrative expertise, supporting board-level oversight and strategic decision-making. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Gujarat University.
