Shreekant & Rajiv Kumar Singh Join PNB Housing Finance As Independent Directors

Shreekant and Rajiv Kumar Singh have been appointed as Independent Directors (Additional Directors) on the Board of PNB Housing Finance Limited, with effect from July 10, 2026.

Shreekant has held senior leadership roles at State Bank of India, including Chief General Manager, where he contributed to business growth and operational improvements. He led SBI’s Real Estate and Housing vertical, helping the bank achieve a housing business milestone of Rs 5 trillion in assets under management. He has also headed the Thiruvananthapuram Circle and the Executive Support Systems Unit of SBI’s IT vertical. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science, an M.A. in Political Science from Delhi University, and a CAIIB qualification. He has completed leadership programmes from ISB Hyderabad, UC Berkeley, and the Wharton School.

Rajiv Kumar Singh is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA, USA), and an IBBI-Registered Valuer in Securities or Financial Assets. He is a Director at R S Valuation Services Pvt. Ltd., an Independent Director at Machino Plastics Ltd. and Lava International Ltd., and a Partner at ASC & Associates, Chartered Accountants. He has served as an Independent Director of Union Bank of India, where he chaired the Audit Committee and contributed to various board-level committees, including risk management and fraud monitoring. His expertise includes valuation, mergers and acquisitions, financial instruments, regulatory compliance, and governance frameworks.
