
Astec LifeSciences Shareholders Approve The Appointment Of Four Directors
Shareholders approved the appointment of Arijit Mukherjee as Executive Director while he continues as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Astec LifeSciences Limited, with the resolutions passed on July 4, 2026. In addition, Mathew Eipe was appointed as an Independent Director.
They also approved the appointment of Vishal Sharma and Burjis N. Godrej as Non-Executive Non-Independent Directors liable to retire by rotation.
Arijit Mukherjee has over 20 years of experience in the agri-inputs sector and has been associated with Godrej Agrovet since 2005. He began his career in sales before moving into marketing operations and later joined Astec LifeSciences as COO in 2016. He oversees manufacturing and the company’s B2B and contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) business across domestic and export markets. His experience includes product strategy, strategic partnerships, marketing, customer and channel management, and leading cross-functional teams to drive business growth and operational performance.
Mathew Eipe is an Independent Director of Godrej Industries and serves on the Boards of several companies within the Godrej Group. He joined Godrej Soaps as a management trainee in 1977. He later served as Senior Vice President (VP) of Marketing in the Chemicals Division before becoming Executive Director and President (Chemicals) at Godrej Industries in 2001. He led the chemicals business until his retirement in 2013 and oversaw the relocation of its manufacturing facility from Vikhroli to Ambernath. He is a chemical engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-B) with a postgraduate degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C).
