CGM Venkata S.V. Appointed As CFO At Power Grid Corporation Of India; Anjana Luthra As Company Secretary

Venkata Subrahamanayam Vallurie, Chief General Manager (F&A), has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, with effect from July 1, 2026.

In addition, Anjana Luthra, General Manager (Company Secretariat), has been appointed as Company Secretary & Compliance Officer of the company with immediate effect i.e., June 10, 2026.

During his career, Vallurie has served in the Finance Department of Northern Region-I and as Head of Finance for the Telecom Department. He currently serves as Head of Finance (HoF) of Southern Region-I, overseeing financial management and operational finance functions within the region. He has spent over 32 years with POWERGRID, serving across regional headquarters and the corporate centre in a range of finance leadership roles. His expertise spans resource mobilisation, financial concurrence, enterprise resource planning (ERP), financial accounting, and internal audit. Vallurie is a finance professional and a qualified Cost Accountant from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, with more than 35 years of post-qualification experience.

Luthra has served as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of POWERGRID Infrastructure Investment Trust (PGInvIT), the first InvIT sponsored by a Maharatna CPSE. She played a key role in the trust’s launch, initial public offering, listing process, and ongoing compliance and governance framework. During her tenure at POWERGRID, she contributed to key corporate initiatives, including the company’s Follow-on Public Offer (FPO) and governance-related programs. Luthra is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) with over 25 years of experience across corporate secretarial, legal, finance, and compliance functions. She holds a B.Com. (Hons.) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Delhi.
