
Rajiv Bajaj Set To Retire As Non-Executive Director Of Bajaj Finserv
Rajiv Bajaj will retire as Non-Executive Director of Bajaj Finserv Limited upon completion of his tenure, effective July 31, 2026. He has chosen not to seek re-election, citing increased responsibilities at Bajaj Auto Ltd. following the establishment of Bajaj Auto Technology Ltd., Bajaj Auto Credit Ltd., and the acquisition of KTM.
Bajaj is the Managing Director (MD) of Bajaj Auto and has been a key figure in the company’s transformation into a global two-wheeler and commercial vehicle manufacturer. He serves on the Boards of several Bajaj Group companies, including Bajaj Finance Ltd., Bajaj Holdings & Investment Ltd., Bajaj Auto Credit Ltd., and Bajaj Auto Technology Ltd. He joined Bajaj Auto in 1990 and gained experience across manufacturing, supply chain, research and development, engineering, marketing, and sales before becoming MD in 2005. With over three decades of industry experience, Bajaj has led the company’s focus on innovation, exports, and premium motorcycle brands. He has received recognition for his contributions to business leadership, entrepreneurship, and the automotive industry. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pune and a master’s degree in manufacturing systems engineering from the University of Warwick, UK.
