
Massimo Andolina To Replace Emmanuel Babeau As Group CFO Of Philip Morris International
Philip Morris International has appointed Massimo Andolina as Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO), effective August 1, 2026, as part of a planned leadership transition within the company. Andolina will take over from Emmanuel Babeau, who will continue with the company as Strategic Advisor to the CEO until March 2027 to support the transition process.
Andolina has been serving as President of the Europe region since 2023. He has been associated with Philip Morris since 2008 and has held several senior roles across operations, transformation, and supply chain management. Earlier in his career at the company, he worked in global operations and strategy-related functions. Before joining Philip Morris, he held roles at Tetra Pak and earlier assignments at R.J. Reynolds International and Procter & Gamble. He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA).
Babeau previously held positions like Deputy CEO & CFO and Executive Vice President (EVP) at Schneider Electric. He has been associated with Philip Morris in senior finance leadership roles and has overseen global financial operations, capital allocation, and performance management across its international markets. Before his CFO role at Philip Morris, he held senior leadership positions in multinational organisations, including roles in finance, operations, and business management across different regions.
