Radhakrishnan Nair Retires As Independent Director Of ICICI Bank

Radhakrishnan Nair has retired as an Independent Director of ICICI Bank Limited, effective May 1, 2026, upon completion of his second term.

Nair has worked as Managing Director (MD) of Corporation Bank Securities Ltd. In 2005, he joined the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as Executive Director, handling investment management, corporate debt, and surveillance functions. He later served as a Member at the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), where he worked on investment and accounting frameworks for insurers. He began his career with Corporation Bank in 1976 and later served as General Manager, overseeing recovery, legal services, credit risk, and priority sector lending. Nair has experience in banking operations, treasury, foreign exchange, and regulation, and has contributed to policy work with national and international regulatory bodies.
