Veni Thapar & Dr. Vivek Atul Bhuskute Retire As Independent Directors Of Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders
Veni Thapar and Dr. Vivek Atul Bhuskute have retired as Non-Official Independent Directors of Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited upon completion of their terms, effective April 21, 2026.
Thapar, a Senior Partner in a reputed CA firm, has expertise in audits, taxation, FEMA, RBI matters, and corporate consultancy, with extensive Board experience. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a practising Fellow Member of the ICAI, along with being a Cost Accountant from ICMA. She is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA (USA), holds a Diploma in Information Systems Audit, and a Certificate in International Taxation from ICAI. She has completed specialised programmes in IT and Cyber Security for Board Members from IDRBT, valuation from IICA, and Directors Development Program from Harvard Business Publishing and Egon Zehnder.
Dr. Bhuskute is a practising paediatrician and neonatologist and serves as Director at AAROGYANILAYAM, a centre offering care to infants, neonates, and children in rural areas since January 2007. He previously worked as Ex. Registrar in the Department of Paediatrics at Dr. Hedgewar Rugnalaya, Aurangabad, Maharashtra. He also served as an Independent Director at the State Trading Corporation of India Ltd. from November 2021 to November 2024. He is an alumnus of NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
