
B. Chandra Reddy, Deepak Sharma & Suresh K. Rungta Retire As Part-Time Directors Of Indian Overseas Bank
B. Chandra Reddy, Deepak Sharma, and Suresh Kumar Rungta have retired as Part-Time Non-Official Directors of the Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) upon completion of their terms, w.e.f. April 11, 2026.
Reddy is a practising Chartered Accountant (CA) with experience in auditing and financial oversight. He has worked across assignments in the banking and corporate sectors. During 2020–2021, he served as a statutory bank auditor for Union Bank of India, where he handled audit functions related to compliance and financial reporting. In addition to his role in banking audits, he has held positions in private sector companies in different capacities.
Sharma has over two decades of experience across regulatory affairs, financial structuring, investments, and governance. He has served at the Board level in the banking and financial services sector, contributing to areas such as risk oversight, compliance, credit processes, and planning. His work includes roles linked to structured finance, capital allocation, and risk frameworks aligned with regulatory systems. He has also been involved in the real estate sector, working on land acquisition, project assessment, and investment decisions. His experience includes aligning legal, regulatory, and financial aspects in project execution. Sharma holds a Master of Laws degree with a focus on real estate laws and a postgraduate diploma in international business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
