Curefit Healthcare Appoints Four High-Profile Independent Directors Ahead Of IPO Plan

Curefit Healthcare has appointed Kalpana Morparia, Indu Bhushan, Arun M. Kumar, and Pragya Misra as Independent Directors as it prepares for a proposed public listing in 2026.

Morparia served as Chair of JPMorgan Chase South and Southeast Asia and was part of its Asia executive committee until 2021. Earlier, she was Joint Managing Director (Jt. MD) at ICICI Bank from 2001 to 2007. She has held Board roles at Hindustan Unilever, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, and Meesho. She currently serves as an Independent Director at multiple firms, including HSBC. She is a business leader with over four decades of experience in banking across Asia, with a focus on India. She is also associated with organisations in the education sector. Morparia holds degrees in science and law from the University of Mumbai.

Bhushan was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. He is a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the 1983 batch with over four decades of experience in governance, development, and healthcare. He has served in administrative roles in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, and worked with the World Bank Group and the Asian Development Bank in leadership positions. His work has been recognised through awards from global and national institutions. Bhushan holds a PhD in Health Economics and a master’s degree in Health Sciences from Johns Hopkins University, along with a BTech from IIT Banaras Hindu University and a postgraduate diploma from IIT Delhi.
