Sabitha Bojan & Kantilal Chaturbhai Patel Retire As Independent Directors Of HUDCO

Sabitha Bojan and Kantilal Chaturbhai Patel have completed their terms as Independent Directors of Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) and consequently retired, effective April 7, 2026.

Bojan is a management professional with over 18 years of experience across corporate, education, and administrative roles. She received the Tamizh Chemmal Award in 2019 from the Government of Tamil Nadu for her contribution to the Tamil language. She is also involved in social initiatives focused on youth, women, and tribal communities, working with multiple non-governmental organisations. She has worked in leadership positions, including roles as state and regional head in various organisations. Alongside her professional career, she is an entrepreneur and is engaged in literary work as a poet and writer. Bojan holds a master’s degree in Sociology, an MBA in Human Resources, and a diploma in Co-operation.

Patel has served as an Independent Director at Western Coalfields Ltd., contributing to board-level oversight and governance. He is a commerce and law graduate from Gujarat with over four decades of experience. He has been engaged in social work and community-related activities over the years.
