Trupti Kamlesh Patel, Dr. Ajay Narang & Sanjaykumar Patel Retire As Independent Directors Of NALCO

Trupti Kamlesh Patel, Dr. Ajay Narang, and Sanjaykumar Patel have retired as Independent Directors of National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), effective March 31, 2026, upon completion of their terms.

Patel has worked in the private sector for a decade under architectural guidance, gaining experience in project-related functions. Alongside her professional work, she has been involved in social and organisational roles, including serving as Joint Treasurer of the State Mahila Morcha and Secretary of DAMINI Women’s Foundation, an NGO focused on community initiatives. She has also contributed as an observer with the Human Rights Association for Protection in D.N.H. and Daman & Diu, and as a paralegal volunteer with the State Legal Services Authority, Daman. Her work has included initiatives related to women and children. Between November 2021 and November 2024, she served as an Independent Director on the Board of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. Patel holds a diploma in civil engineering from Gujarat Technological University.

Dr. Narang has over three decades of experience across industry and business, with work exposure in both the United States and India, and has served on the Boards of multiple companies. He began his career in the manufacturing and supply sector before taking charge of a small-scale industrial unit involved in LPG cylinder production. Over time, he transitioned into the healthcare space, combining his medical background with business experience. He is a qualified allopathic general physician and also holds a bachelor’s degree in science. His work centres on expanding healthcare access and delivery in underserved urban regions.

Sanjaykumar Patel has been serving as Chairman of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC), Khambhat, since 2018, contributing to agricultural market administration and related activities. He also served as the President of Ralej Kedavni Mandal, Ralej. In addition, Patel has been a Syndicate Member of Sardar Patel University since 2018, participating in institutional governance and decision-making. His experience spans roles in both agricultural systems and education. He holds a degree in science with a focus on chemistry from Gujarat University.
