Rajkumar Sharma, Manohar Singh Verma, Pankaj Gupta, and Cheruvally Nivedida Subramanian have completed their tenure as Independent Directors of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited and consequently retired, effective March 28, 2026.

Sharma has handled income tax cases, including investigation and appellate matters. He served as chairman of the North-East chapter of the institute during 2011–2012 and was secretary of the Tax Bar Association in 2006. He has also served as an Independent Director at Numaligarh Refinery until 2019. He has been a practising company secretary since 1997 in Guwahati, working on company law and tax matters, including mergers, demergers, and restructuring. Sharma is a commerce and law graduate and a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Verma held roles such as Superintendent of Police (SP) in Mandsaur and Ujjain and later served as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in Gwalior, Khargone, and Jabalpur, retiring in 2020. He began his career in academia, serving as a lecturer and associate professor at SGSITS Indore and SSVPS Engineering College, Dhule. He joined the Madhya Pradesh State Police Service in 1989 and served in multiple districts, including Chhindwara, Ujjain, and Bhopal. He was inducted into the Indian Police Service with 2003 seniority. He received the Police Medal for meritorious service in 2009 and the Police Medal for gallantry in 2011, along with the Simhastha Jyoti Medal for service during Simhastha 2016. Verma holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on water resources.

Gupta is based at the district headquarters and collectorate in Etah, where he handles cases related to legal and administrative proceedings. His work involves representation in civil disputes and matters linked to revenue laws and local administration. He has been engaged in legal practice for matters concerning individuals and institutions at the district level. In addition to his professional work, he is involved in social service activities and community initiatives. Gupta is a commerce and law graduate and practices in civil and revenue matters.
