Srinivasan Varadarajan Joins Titan Company As Independent Director

Srinivasan Varadarajan has been appointed as a Non-Executive Independent Director (Additional Director) of Titan Company Limited, effective April 1, 2026, subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Varadarajan joined Axis Bank in 2009 as Executive Director for Corporate Banking and was later elevated to Deputy Managing Director (Dy MD) in 2015. He also chaired several subsidiaries of the bank. Before this, he held senior roles at J.P. Morgan in India, including Chief Executive Officer (CEO), MD, and Head of Markets of its banking operations. He recently served as Non-Executive Chairman of Union Bank of India. He has over three decades of experience in banking and financial services across commercial banking, investment banking, treasury, and global markets. He worked with the ICICI Group for about a decade earlier in his career. He has been associated with committees of the Reserve Bank of India and industry bodies. Varadarajan holds degrees from Anna University and the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
