Puneet Bansal To Replace Deepak S. Pandya As Company Secretary Of Adani Power
Puneet Bansal has been appointed as Company Secretary & Compliance Officer, Key Managerial Personnel, and Senior Management Personnel (KMP & SMP) of Adani Power Limited, with effect from April 1, 2026. He will replace Deepak S. Pandya, who will retire upon completion of his term with effect from March 31, 2026.
Bansal joined Adani Group in 2021 as Group Head of Governance and Secretarial, overseeing governance across listed and unlisted entities. Before this, he held roles at Pidilite Industries, Grasim Industries, KPIT Technologies, and RP Goenka Group. Over his career, he has led governance and secretarial functions, managed domestic and cross-border transactions, and handled litigation and arbitration matters. He also engages with industry bodies on regulatory frameworks and participates in professional forums. Bansal is a company secretary and legal professional with over three decades of experience in Corporate Governance, organisational restructuring, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and enterprise risk management. He has also worked on ESG practices.
Pandya serves as Company Secretary at Adani Power, where he oversees compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Based at the Adani Corporate House in Ahmedabad, he is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). In his role, he manages Corporate Governance processes and supports Board and administrative functions. His responsibilities include ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks, maintaining records, and facilitating coordination between management and the Board.
