Ved Prakash Reappointed As EVP & Head Of Internal Audit At SBI Cards

Ved Prakash has been reappointed as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Head of Internal Audit at SBI Cards and Payment Services Limited, effective March 1, 2026. The reappointment was approved on March 5, 2026.

Prakash joined SBI Cards as EVP and Head of Internal Audit in March 2023. He leads the company’s internal audit function and oversees audit processes and compliance. He is a Deputy General Manager at State Bank of India (SBI) and joined the bank in 1994 as a Probationary Officer. He has more than 31 years of experience across banking functions, including high-value credit and government business. Over his career at SBI, he has handled roles across operations and risk management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Delhi (DU) and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
