Alok Chandra Misra Replaces Vivek Sharma As Independent Director Of Hexaware Technologies

Alok Chandra Misra has been appointed as a Non-Executive Independent Director (Additional Director) of Hexaware Technologies Limited, commencing from February 23, 2026, subject to approval of the shareholders. He succeeds Vivek Sharma, who has resigned due to other professional commitments, with effect from February 23, 2026.

Misra is the Co-founder of Guvrn, a curated Board network that connects Independent Directors with companies seeking to strengthen governance. Until June 2024, he served as Operating Partner and Chief Operating Officer (COO), India, at General Atlantic, where he supported portfolio companies across India and ASEAN. He serves as an Independent Director on several Boards. He has served as Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) at WNS Global Services and MphasiS, and held finance roles at ITC and PwC. Misra is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and holds an honours degree in commerce from the University of Calcutta.

Previously, Sharma had co-founded InStride and led it as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He advises Boards and management teams on AI, data, and digital transformation. He also held leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company, Yahoo, and McKinsey & Company. He is Senior Advisor for AI at Advent International and serves on the Boards of Kaiser Permanente and JetBlue Airways. He is an Adjunct Professor of Data Science at the University of Southern California and a member of the California Institute of Technology IST advisory council. Sharma is an IIT Delhi graduate and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
