
Nestlé Nominates Fama Francisco & Thomas Jordan To Board
Nestlé has nominated Ma. Fatima D. (Fama) Francisco and Thomas Jordan for election to the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for April 16, 2026.
If approved, the Board will have 13 Independent Directors. In India, Nestlé India saw Suresh Narayanan retire, with Manish Tiwary appointed Chairman.
Francisco is CEO of the Global Baby, Feminine, and Family Care business at Procter & Gamble. Jordan is the former Chairman of the Swiss National Bank.
As the CEO of the Global Baby, Feminine, and Family Care sector Francisco is overseeing more than USD 20 billion in net sales. The portfolio includes Pampers, Always, Tampax, Luvs, Bounty, Charmin, and Puffs. She joined P&G Philippines in 1989 as its first female sales manager and later became the first Asian female Sector CEO in the company’s history. She was appointed Baby and Feminine Care Sector CEO in 2019 and later took on additional responsibility for Family Care in 2021. She led North America Baby Care to category share leadership and supported the growth of Always Discreet. Francisco has also backed the global expansion of the Always #LikeAGirl campaign and served as Gender Equality Executive Sponsor at P&G.
Jordan serves as Chairman of the Governing Board of the Swiss National Bank, Switzerland’s central bank. Appointed to the Governing Board in 2007, he became Vice Chairman in 2010 and Chairman in 2012. He earned his PhD in economics from the University of Bern in 1993 and completed post-doctoral research at Harvard University before joining the SNB in 1997 as an Economic Advisor. Jordan represents Switzerland as Governor at the International Monetary Fund and is a Board member of the Bank for International Settlements. He also represents Switzerland at the Financial Stability Board, where he chairs the Standing Committee on Budget and Resources.
