Aditya Puri Reappointed As MD Of ISGEC Heavy Engineering; Kishore Chatnani & Sanjay Gulati As Joint MD
Aditya Puri has been reappointed as Managing Director (MD) of ISGEC Heavy Engineering Limited, with effect from May 1, 2026, subject to the approval of the shareholders.
Further, Kishore Chatnani and Sanjay Gulati have been reappointed as Joint MD, with effect from June 28, 2026, subject to the approval of the shareholders.
Additionally, Arvind Sagar has been reappointed as a Non-Executive Independent Director, with effect from June 28, 2026, subject to the approval of the shareholders.
Puri is the Promoter of the company and has 30 years of experience. He joined ISGEC Heavy Engineering as Controller of Finance and progressed to the position of MD. In addition to his executive role, he serves on the Boards of other group companies. He holds a B.A. (Hons.) from St. Stephen’s College, India, and an M.A. in Economics from Cambridge University, U.K.
Chatnani has over 30 years of experience in finance, operations, treasury, investment management, and mergers & acquisitions, and has been with the company since 1998. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering with a specialisation in Industrial Production Engineering from MPIET, University of Nagpur, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialisation in Finance from the Institute of Management Studies, Indore University.
Gulati has over 30 years of experience in marketing, exports, projects, manufacturing, planning, human resources, and administration, greenfield projects, joint ventures, and team leadership. He also serves as MD of the subsidiary and joint venture, Isgec Hitachi Zosen Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering with a specialisation in Industrial Production Engineering from SGSITS, Indore.
Sagar has 30 years of experience in process excellence, change management, business consulting, programme management, and operations and supply chain management. He holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, and a PGDBM in Operations and Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur.
