
Sreedhar Krishna Menon To Succeed D. Muthukumaran As CFO Of Adani Ports
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) Limited has appointed Sreedhar Krishna Menon as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with effect from March 1, 2026.
Menon will succeed D. Muthukumaran, who is scheduled to step down from the role.
Menon has held leadership positions at Pennar Group, AFL Pvt. Ltd., Bharti Airtel Ltd., and AdaniConnex. In these roles, he was involved in managing finance teams, overseeing accounting processes, and supporting business operations. His experience spans multiple sectors and organisational structures. He is a Cost Accountant and a management graduate. He has also completed the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School. He has more than 30 years of experience across finance and accounting functions, covering planning, execution, and financial management. Over the course of his career, he has worked in roles involving corporate finance, accounting, and business support.
Muthukumaran served as CFO at ReNew Power from August 2019 to July 2022. Earlier, he was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Aditya Birla Private Equity between September 2014 and June 2019. He also worked as Head of Group Corporate Finance at Aditya Birla Management Corporation for over 12 years and began his career in corporate finance at Lazard. He has held senior leadership roles across finance and investment organisations. He is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
