
Deepak Kapoor To Step Down As Delhivery Chairman; Saugata Gupta To Exit Board
Deepak Kapoor will step down as Chairman and Independent Director of Delhivery Limited, effective April 1, 2026.
Further, Saugata Gupta will step down as Independent Director of the company, effective March 31, 2026.
Kapoor is a former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PricewaterhouseCoopers Pvt. Ltd. He is an expert in audit, governance, risk management, and corporate oversight and has worked with companies across sectors on financial systems, compliance frameworks, and board processes. Kapoor holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Delhi and has been awarded a doctorate in philosophy by Amity University, Uttar Pradesh. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and is also a Certified Fraud Examiner accredited by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Gupta is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director (CEO & MD) of Marico Ltd. He has experience in consumer goods, strategy, and business operations and has been associated with Marico in leadership roles across functions. He has worked on portfolio expansion, market development, and organisational processes and has been involved in Corporate Governance and board-level oversight through his directorships. Gupta holds a bachelor’s degree in technology (honours) in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, and a postgraduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore.
