Pidilite Industries Appoints Dr. Naushad Darius Forbes As Non-Executive Independent Director
The Board of Directors of Pidilite Industries Limited has appointed Dr. Naushad Darius Forbes as an Additional Director (Non-Executive and Independent) for a first term of five consecutive years, with effect from January 21, 2026, subject to the approval of the shareholders of the company.
Dr. Naushad Darius Forbes is the Co-Chairman of Forbes Marshall and serves as the Chairman of the Ananta Aspen Centre and the Centre for Technology Innovation and Economic Research. He was an occasional Lecturer and Consulting Professor at Stanford University from 1987 to 2004, where he developed and taught courses on technology in newly industrialising countries.
Dr. Forbes serves on the Boards of several educational institutions and public companies. He was the President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for the year 2016–17. Currently, he chairs the CII National Committee on Technology, Innovation & Research, the CII National Committee on Intellectual Property, and the CII National Higher Education Committee.
He is also a founding member of Nayanta University, a full-service university spearheaded by CII. Dr. Forbes holds Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD degrees from Stanford University.
