Former Mitsubishi UFG Executive Carolyn DuChene Joins Board Of Directors For MUFG Americas

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) has elected Carolyn DuChene to its Board of Directors for MUFG Americas and the MUFG U.S. advisory board, commencing January 1, 2026.

DuChene retired from MUFG in 2025, where she served as Managing Director (MD) and Head of Regulatory Operations & Affairs and was a member of the executive committee for the Americas. During her tenure, she led enterprise regulatory programme management and strengthened governance and risk oversight across business lines. Before joining MUFG in 2021, she spent over 30 years at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, including roles as Examiner in Charge of large bank supervision and Deputy Comptroller for operational risk & core policy. She advised senior OCC leadership on operational risk, IT, payments, governance, and supervision frameworks. DuChene holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics from Drake University.
