Fernando Tennenbaum Replaces Nelson Jamel As Non-Executive Director Of Budweiser Brewing Company APAC

Budweiser Brewing Company APAC Limited announced board changes effective January 1, 2026. Fernando Tennenbaum, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Anheuser-Busch InBev, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director and member of the Audit & Risk Committee.

Tennenbaum replaces Nelson Jamel, Non-Executive Director and Audit & Risk Committee member, who resigned to pursue other opportunities.

The changes also involve shifts in alternate Directors. John Blood, David Almeida, and Katherine Barrett, previously alternates for Jamel, will now act as alternates for Tennenbaum.

Tennenbaum is the CFO of Anheuser-Busch InBev, a position he has held since April 2020. He joined AB InBev in 2004 and has held multiple roles in finance, including Treasury, Investor Relations, and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). Prior to his current role, he served as Vice President of Finance for the South America Zone and as Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer of Ambev S.A. A dual citizen of Brazil and Germany, Tennenbaum holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo and a corporate MBA from Ambev.

Jamel is the Chief People Officer of Anheuser-Busch InBev, a role he has held since April 2020. He has spent over 20 years at AB InBev, advancing through finance roles across Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Western Europe, and North America. Prior to his current position, he served as Vice President (VP) of Finance & Technology for the North America Zone. Throughout his career, he has contributed to global operations, combining expertise in finance, technology, and people management, and has played a key role in shaping leadership, organisational strategy, and workforce development across AB InBev’s international businesses. A Brazilian citizen, Jamel holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in industrial engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
