Sandhya Venugopal Sharma Appointed As Chairperson & Director On Titan Company’s Board

Sandhya Venugopal Sharma has been appointed as Chairperson and Director on the Board of Titan Company Limited, with effect from January 4, 2026.

Meanwhile, Sandeep Nanduri has resigned as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of the company with effect from January 4, 2026.

Sharma, a 1995-batch IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre, has held a wide range of administrative and technical roles. Before her current position at TIDCO, she served on central deputation with the Department of Space in Bengaluru as Joint Secretary and later Additional Secretary from April 2019 to October 2025. During her tenure with the Government of Karnataka, she was State Project Director for Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, collaborating with the Central and State Governments, the World Bank, DFID, and UNICEF to promote universal elementary education. In Tamil Nadu, Sharma held key roles, including Commissioner (Archives and Historical Research), Joint/Deputy Secretary in Commercial Taxes, Education, and TNPSC, and district-level assignments as Assistant Collector in Chengalpattu and Tindivanam, gaining experience across finance, education, culture, human resources, and revenue administration.
