Dina Powell McCormick Resigns From Meta Board, May Remain Adviser
Dina Powell McCormick stepped down from Meta Platforms’ Board of Directors just eight months after joining.
Powell McCormick may continue advising Meta in a broader role focused on investments and strategic counsel, according to a source familiar with the matter. She previously served as Deputy National Security Adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump, Assistant Secretary of State under Condoleezza Rice, and held senior leadership roles at Goldman Sachs, leading impact investing and sustainability initiatives. She is a New York Times best-selling author for “Who Believed in You, the Power of Transformative Mentorship”, a book she authored with her husband, United States Senator from Pennsylvania David McCormick.
