Suchita Chatterjee Appointed Head Of Internal Audit At Utkarsh Small Finance Bank
Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Limited has appointed Suchita Chatterjee as the permanent Head of Internal Audit and reappointed Ajay Kumar Kapur as an Independent Director for a second term.
Chatterjee has over 20 years of experience in audit functions, having worked with banks including Ujjivan Small Finance Bank and IndusInd Bank, as well as microfinance institutions such as Bharat Financial. She will oversee risk management, compliance, and internal control processes at Utkarsh Small Finance Bank. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Calcutta University and an LLB from Utkal University.
Kapur has previously been associated with Punjab Tractors Ltd., Industrial Development Bank of India, India SME Technology Services Ltd., and SIDBI. He is currently serving as an advisor to the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation. He provides oversight on governance, risk management, and strategic guidance for Utkarsh Small Finance Bank. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Roorkee (now the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee).
