Mayank Sharma Appointed As Chief Business Officer At Autoline Industries; Kailas Thopate Named COO

Mayank Sharma has been appointed as Chief Business Officer (CBO) of Autoline Industries Limited with effect from November 8, 2025.

Meanwhile, Kailas Thopate has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company with effect from November 8, 2025.

Sharma is an operations leader with over 35 years of experience in the automotive components and manufacturing industry. His expertise spans production management, plant leadership, strategic operations, and business development across organisations such as Lumax Automotive Systems Ltd., Mungi Engineers Pvt. Ltd., JBM Group, and Autoline Industries Ltd. Since joining Autoline Industries Ltd. in 2019, Sharma has been instrumental in improving operational efficiency, enhancing manufacturing systems, optimising costs, and driving business growth across multiple plants. His leadership has contributed to strengthening processes, achieving productivity goals, and supporting the company’s strategic expansion initiatives.

Thopate is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in P&L management, operations, business development, and CAPEX-OPEX budgeting. Throughout his career, he has successfully driven business turnarounds in sales and EBITDA through the implementation of LEAN, TPM, Six Sigma, and new technologies. His expertise also includes low-cost automation, cost-saving initiatives, energy management, and process improvement practices such as Advanced 5S and Visual Factory, contributing to enhanced operational efficiency and sustainable growth. Thopate holds an MBA in finance from IIBM and a degree in mechanical engineering from Pune University.
